I recently reset my iPhone 8 .Notes were also backed up before i resent.abut now it shows 0 notes under iCloud account but i can access gmail note which are years old.
can anyone help me how to get my notes back.Its very important.

iCloud Notes are not on any backup.
Settings, your name, iCloud
Turn on Notes.
If that does not work go to a computer browser and sign into iCloud.com and look for Notes.
If they are not there they are gone.

Assuming you have the same Apple account signed into your phone
(Settings, at the top is that your name? Tap on it is that the same Apple ID email?)
Then Settings, your name, iCloud and turn on Notes (green)
That is it, nothing else to be done
except maybe signing out of the Apple ID nd then back in again in those settings.
Thank you for your help.I checked on computer by signing in to iCloud.I can see my notes there but i cannot see in my phone under notes app.How i can fix that.
