jailbroken rooted device

trying ton down load the Optus app and got a warning message that my MacBook Pro was a jailbroken or rooted device.

Hello, I downloaded an app on my MacBook Air 2020 (running on the latest MacOS) and when I opened it, a message (within the app) popped up saying that the app cannot work on ROOTED devices. Consequently, my question is: how do I check whether my MacBook has been rooted? I bought is as new from an authorised Apple reseller in my country a week ago. my mac as installed and restarted on its own with third party software and i saw the notification that it may not be safe please advise how to remove it or what is to be done my mac installed and restarted my pc after which i received a notification saying that a third party software has been installed with suggestion to contact apple support as the software can be not compatible to mac software was advised to contact and take a help that if need to remove that and how please help

jailbroken is for iPhones, not Macs.
