Migration Problems

I bought a new "used" iMac and completed with migration of files and apps from old iMac to new iMac. Seemed to go great. It did say there was a printer installation files that was weird but I thought I bypassed it. Everything went thru completely and it said it was successful. Then my new iMac went to restart and it has just been stuck on the apple for ever. I have tried restarting a couple times and even did the PRAM thing to try and get it unstuck. I can't get it passed that to even look on computer for bad files. What should I do?

I'm going to stick my neck out and say the computer was likely not set up properly to be sold as most private party sellers do not do this. Please follow the steps in What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac and then re-migrate to start over.

Also, if you are migrating from another Mac please follow the steps in Setup Assistant and Migration Assistant
