Splitting Up Apple Account or ID My wife and I have shared the same Apple Account for years and it was fine. But over the past 2-3 years with the iPhones, the Apple Watches, and my iPad all linked it has been getting very confusing. When she gets a call at home it shows on my Apple Watch and my iPad. If she or I download an app we both get the app. My iPhone, Apple Watch and iPad all have her name in the settings section. For a while our walking data was getting mixed up too. I would like have my wife keep the present Apple ID or account and create a new one for myself. I would like to keep my apps and contacts but we want share the Apple account for purchases. Is this possible and how can it be done? Would I just be better to go to the Apple Store and make an appointment at the Genius Bar? Thanks 😊
