Upon booting, I get the message "verifying "aeheur.dylib" and don't know what it is or how to make it go away...

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 12.3

This is from the unwanted / unneeded AVIRA antivirus.


Try uninstalling it ( and any cleanup apps)

FYI, you can clean up that "Verifying..." message by going into the Activity Monitor app and force quitting the CoreServicesUIAgent process. I did this about 16 hours ago and didn't restart my system, and had no problems, so I'm guessing that this process isn't essential, and will restart when needed, such as when the same "Verifying..." messages popped up a few minutes ago, leading me to find your post here. I've just removed Avira Antivirus from my system, and I'm hoping that I won't see that message again.
