Password in null

What does “null” mean

Are you having an issue with entering in a password for an account added to the Mail app on your iPhone? If so, check out and complete the steps here: If you can’t send email on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Specifically the section:


"Check your email address and password

If Mail asks you to enter a password for your email account, make sure that your password is correct. To check your email address and password, sign in to your email provider's website.

If you still get a user name or password error, contact your email provider or system administrator."


If you're seeing this because you forgot or need to enter in your Apple ID password, complete the steps here: If you forgot your Apple ID password


However, if this is in a password field it means there's currently no value. Yet, if neither help tell us a bit more about where you're seeing this and we'll take it from there.
