I'm a DJ so I have many mp3 files on my MacBook.
Suddenly when i tried to play some of those files i noticed that their size has changed to 200 bytes and i can play them anymore. It happened to many files on my mac and that's terrible for me. maybe its a issue with iCloud? beacuse my this folder is located at Icloud drive as well.
If they were on iCloud they may still be there. It depends on how they were "disappeared". iCloud Drive is interactive; it's quite possible to delete them locally and at the same time delete them on the cloud. You need to login to iCloud and look for them.
If they are gone, you'll need to rely on your backups.
