I want to basically upload all my messages and have them stored on iCloud so I set up iCloud messages after upgrading my iCloud storage. After I did that, it didn't change anything. Still have all 13 GB of messages on my iPhone and nothing went on to iCloud. Any suggestions?
iCloud for Messages is a syncing service ie if you have more than one device messages will sync between them. It is not a backup service. The messages will stay on the phone until you delete them, whether you use iCloud or not.
