Authorize or deauthorize your computer for iTunes Store purchases - Apple Support (MY)

You may have to deauthorize all your computers and reauthorize them.

You may have two computers now which are signed in and authorised, but have you had any in the past which you no longer have but did not sign out of the iTunes store?


The cumulative number of computers you have signed in seems to be five, regardless of how many you have in your possession.


Authorize or deauthorize your computer for iTunes Store purchases explains how to deauthorise all your computers to allow you a fresh start with those you have currently.
