MacBook Pro 2021 Models

Why are there two 16 inch M1pro models listed on the Apple website?

Why are they listing the same product twice? One has 512 Gb ssd, and the other with 1 Tb, are they the same machine just with different storage?

Am I missing something? I find it super confusing.

If i upgrade the storage on the $2,499.00 to 1 Tb, is it the same as the $2,699.00 1 Tb version that is missing the 512 option?

Please help me understand this.

Thank you!

There is no difference beyond the storage options. Why they chose to have 2 options there I don't know. But they are the same computer, same specs just different storage options.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm asking about the difference between the two M1pro models.

It seems like the storage is the only difference.

So, by that logic, why not list the same computer four times, for every storage option?

I still don't see the difference between the two M1pro models. One of them is just missing the 512 Gb option.

Much appreciated!
