My iPad won’t turn on after dropping it. I tried pressing & holding the home button & the power button at the same time, but it didn’t work. I tried this a couple times already. I was looking up other solutions on Google & I’ve read that slapping the back of the iPad might work. I tried that a few times & it didn’t work. I’m afraid to slap it too hard because I don’t want to damage it. I don’t know what else to do. Any suggestions would be very helpful!

After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

If you allow me to give you some advice, if I were in your shoes, without knowing what the real problem is (perhaps also caused by the fall of your iPad), I would not make random attempts, like the absurd one you reported about "slapping the back of your device", so as not to further compromise the situation.

Thank you for your advice. I didn’t make a random attempt. I read that on similar Apple discussion forums from people who dropped their iPads & had the same problem. I wasn’t sure if that was a solution or not. All I asked for is some advice. That’s all. Again thank you for your advice!

Also when I plug it in to charge, it makes the charging noise. I just can’t get it to turn back on.
