About Using Find My W/ AirPods:
Find My:Â Use the Find My App to Locate a Missing Device or Item -Â Apple Support
Note that the of the AirPods location provided is based off of the last time the device they were connected to a device that was itself connected to the Internet. This is because AirPods are not assigned their own IP address.
So, if using your neighbor’s network, then you are seeing it there. As time persists, the location becomes more accurate. So, if they are at your house, then they would eventually be spot on.
