Can’t choose photo’s for portrait watch face

When I try selecting photos for a portrait watch face, there are no photos to select!!

Hi Dan,


It looks like you may need to check the settings in the Watch app on your iPhone to make sure your photos are syncing and the correct album is selected.


•Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.


•Tap My Watch, tap Photos, then turn on Photo Syncing.

Choose a photo album and manage storage on Apple Watch


Once the photos are accessible and showing for you, you can follow the below link to create a photo watch face.

Thanks for the screenshots! As a test, we'd like to have you take a few new photos on your iPhone in Portrait mode before trying to add the watch face again: Use Portrait mode on your iPhone - Apple Support
