Why do I receive text messages on my iPad meant for my ANDROID phone, and the messages do not show up on the Android phone?
I have never sent messages from the iPad.

Perhaps your Android phone’s mobile number has been registered with iMessage. Ensure that you de-register the number:

I wonder if that matters. Of course Apple took my number when I purchased my iPad
