The forward delete is not working on my newly replaced Magic Keyboard. I'm trying FN+Delete and Ctrl+D and neither works. It's driving me crazy, never realized how often I use this shortcut. Any suggestions?

Thanks for you help. I've done an SMC in many different ways—unplugging, unplugging all peripherals, disconnected peripherals via Bluetooth, held done Shift, Option, Control. I've managed to get the Ctl+D to work for a forward backspace. However, not the FN+delete. Any suggestions on that one?
Please reset the SMC 2-3 times with all wired external peripherals (printers, scanners etc) disconnected and then retest.
