CD keeps stopping and starting?

I insert a recorded CD into my external player, came up in my Music window, but keeps starting and stopping songs on the CD. What am ai doing wrong?

iMac 27″, macOS 12.3

CD Starts playing while importing Is there any way to stop this? The disc always starts to play after the first track is imported. I'm also not sure how this works and whether there's any compromise if the disc is being simultaneously read for audio and for file conversation.

Unable to access audio CD I was trying to load an audio CD disc on my ITunes but failed to open. Checked Diagnostic problem in the tool bar "Help", and got message - "Unable to access audio CD". Please advise to resolve the problem. Thanks!

Try importing the CD.
