Why do i have to always download iTunes every so often nd can't read my new book that i bought error 4244 or something

On my mac lab top it seems that every so often I can't get into my book library without having to down load iTunes again-- wondering why or what is causing this

Cant open Ibook on mac Hi, when I attempt to open a book in iBooks a prompt pops up telling me "This book cant be opened there is a problem with iTunes 42408 reinstall and try again. One thread said to delete and reinstall iTunes, but i am afraid if i do this i will lose my music, Also WHY THE F DO MY IBOOKS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ITUNES WHY ARENT IBOOKS WHERE IBOOKS ARE SUPPOSE TO be, seems like common sense to me :)

Hi,

If you are using MacOS Catalina or newer, you can’t use iTunes. Use Music app instead.
