Please note that the following HP OfficeJet 52xx models are listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support. AirPrint means that you would not have to install additional drivers, provided that the printer and the computer are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router). An AirPrint-enabled printer is compatible with macOS. If necessary, by using an iPhone or iPad, one could test a printer's ability to handle AirPrint (Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support).
