Hi,

When it says "no updates available," is it referring to your Mac? At some point, all Macs get too old to run a newer OS. To see if that's the case with your Mac, go to the Apple Menu > About This Mac to see exactly which Mac you have, then find out if it is compatible with a newer OS here: How to get old versions of macOS - Apple Support

Then look at what the requirements are for what you're trying to download from the App Store. It sounds like your Mac is too old to upgrade the OS and the App Store app you want needs a newer OS than your Mac can run.

Your MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) should be able to upgrade to 11.6.5, the latest release of Big Sur.

If upgrading from macOS Sierra or later, macOS Big Sur requires 35.5GB of available storage to upgrade. If upgrading from an earlier release, macOS Big Sur requires up to 44.5GB of available storage.

If you have enough free space, follow the directions in the link I provided to backup and use Safari to download and install Big Sur.
