IPhone has been hacked pop up

When the pop up message displays “Your iPhone has been hacked…..” it only lets me click on OK. There is no way to ignore it. I either have to click OK or force close the app I am in (usually Google) and reload the app all over if I want to get back in. Is it okay to press the OK or do I need to close it out and reload?

When this happens do not click ANYTHING in the alert; even though it says “OK”, it is not OK; it actually tries to install a JavaScript function that will cause the popup to return regularly. If there is a “Close” button, don’t click that either. If it does come back go to Settings/Safari and tap Clear History & Website Data. It’s a scam. The best thing to do is to not react with it at all, if you need to close it out and re-open it then that’s the best thing to do.

This type of scam in a web browser is a maliciously crafted advertisement, I wouldn’t want to click OK because there is no way of knowing what payload is behind that action.
