Safari acting strangely

This has been going on for a couple of months. I'm not entirely sure, but I have a feeling that it started to happen when I updated to Monterey. Safari keeps reloading pages and keeps going back to the previous page. If it open a new tab and write a search query in the search bar it will briefly open the search results and go back to start page. It will sometimes open a page after I click the link and a second later go back. Is there a way to reinstall Safari? I'm on an M1 Mac Mini 16GB, MacOS Monterey v. 12.3, Safari v. 15.4.
