iPad chargers

I have iPads (9th generation) which came with the USB-C charger. My charging carts have the USB-A charger. Can I charge the new iPads in the charging cart using the older charger rather than the USB-C charger? The new chargers won't fit in the carts. Thanks for the help!

Be aware that most iPad models require at least 12W (i.e., 2.4A @5V) to reliably charge. If your existing charging cart’s Power Adapters are rated at 12W or greater for each iPad, then yes, with an appropriate cable, you can charge the iPad9s from your existing Power Adapters.

Presumably your existing setup has Power Adapters with a USB Type-A connector - and USB Type-A to Lightning cables. You can use these cables with the iPad9 - which use a standard Lightning connector.
