Go to apple to trade in?

I currently go to boost for service and I’ve had this iPhone 11 for three years, nothing wrong with it there’s no cracks etc. I learned that boost mobile only has selective trade in areas not all of them do trade-in so I’m trying to figure out if it would be smarter to go to the Apple Store turn this phone in and pay for the difference for the 13?

It's entirely possible to do that. Apple Stores will take in devices for Trade In.

Wether it's smart or not to you depends on what exactly you want to get out of the trade. The trade in with Apple is for the device only, it will not update or upgrade your current Phone plan.
