Can't add ANY cards to apple Wallet on mobile or watch?

I haven't been able to add any new cards to my wallet on either of my devices. It comes up with contact card issuer for every single card I try (new or old banks).


I tested it by adding a random card I have that was declined on my wallet to my friends and that was accepted on theirs so it's clearly something to do with my devices or account.


The latest card I tried to add I contacted the issuer and they gave me a screenshot of the error they are receiving which reads:


DR: Decline as wallet device score(1) = wallet device max score decline(1) DR: MD



Anyone any advice on this?

Hey Renshyyy,


Let's check a few settings on your iPhone to see if we can resolve the issue with adding cards to Apple Pay.


  • Check that Date & Time are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time
  • Check that your iPhone is set to the correct country in Settings > General > Language & Region
