Is it safe to disconnect a usb-connected printer from Mac w/o ejecting the printer first?

Hello. I am a new Mac user and this is my 1st time posting on this community.

I have a printer and I use a usb-a to connect it with my Mac. So I want to know is it okay to just remove the usb from my Mac after I finish printing, w/o actually ejecting the usb from my Mac?

Previously, on windows, I can eject the printer, but I can't seem to find that option on Mac.

Maybe there is, I am not sure...any advice?

Yes, it is. Only drives need to or can be ejected on Macs.
