So when you single finger swipe down on your Home Screen the search box pops up. If you type the first few
letters of any app the icon will show for you to click. so if I type “SA” the safari app shows up etc etc (see screenshot)
Problem is I cannot find any matching logical shortcut letters for the DuckDuckGo internet browser. I have tried:
DU
INT (for internet)
BRO (for browser)
DDG
no obvious code exists. Does anybody have the answer to this?
I just checked on my iPad, and as expected when I type “DU” my DuckDuckGo browser is the first suggestion. Have you installed the DDG browser? Have you tried typing in more characters than DU?

If you want to change the search engine try Settings > Safari > DuckDuckGo. You can also download the app from the App Store and use the app for browsing.
