Apple Watch Active Workout Reminder Not Working

Randomly when I’m taking the train or on the bus my Apple Watch says “Looks like your exercising. Record elliptical workout”. It only senses elliptical workout and nothing else.

How can I fix this?

My Apple Watch is the Series 3.

Activity/Workout Notification Not Working Hi, I recently bought a Series 6 Apple Watch and the first couple of days, when I went for a walk, my watch would recognize and ask if I’d like to start a workout. Unfortunately, for some reason, it doesn’t recognize this anymore and I have to manually start the workout. I have checked and the notification for starting a workout option is on. I’ve tried turning both my phone and watch off and on. Please help!

Turn off workout reminders,the watch is picking up your movements and is translating this and thinking you are starting a workout,it happens to people who knit and crotchet all the time.
