When returning IPad for credit, if Apple does not accept the IPad for credit do they return the iPad to you or do they recycle them

Depending on your region/country, Apple lets third party companies handle online trade ins. You would be sending the product to them and they will tell you if there is a problem and offer you a final price or have it returned to you. Make sure you take plenty of pics before putting it int he box - just in case. As we are just other users, we do not know what the criteria would be, but I would bet that any damage you did not disclose, would be a good reason.

You can ask them to return the device to you.
Do you just include instructions for returning the device if credit is not issued?
No. When they receive the device, if they determine the value does not match what you were expecting, they give you the option to accept a lesser amount or return the device to you.
