In previous version of MacOS Safari used to offer to autofill codes sent through messages. After the update to macOS version 12.3 it stopped to offer the autofill.
Could it be a bug or some setting that needs to be adjusted? The autofill was very convenient, especially for the apps that I log into on daily basis and require second means of authentication.

As I explained in my explanation above the autofill was working before macOS 12.3 update.
Last night apple issued the 12.3.1 update. With that the issue was resolved.
Hopefully Apple would test the future updates a little more carefully. The introduction of new features is good, but it should not cause useful features to stop working.
