Disabling Apple Watch screen when in pocket

I work in healthcare and need to take off my watch at work. I put it in my pocket but when I put my hand in my pocket to take out something else I touch the watch screen which records that I have tried to enter the wrong code. This has happened a couple of times so Ive needed to reset the watch from scratch. Now I try to turn on the ‘water drop’ for disabling the screen when in the shower…however the movement of my hand in and out of the pocket turns the Digital Crown and reactivates the screen. Any suggestions for a quick way of disabling the screen? Thanks for help
