How do you prevent apps from copying your copied texts from your clipboard unsolicited?

I notice that apps are able to read recently copied texts unsolicited. For example, the app from Aliexpress immediately reads your clipboard when it starts up. Suppose you have just copied a link to your Dropbox, Aliexpress will have this link without you realizing it and can then access folders in your Dropbox. That is a very undesirable situation that must be avoided.

Sorry you are unable to repeat the problem. Several apps use this trick. I see it at 17TRACK, WhatsPad Chat, but Google Chrome also knows that you have copied a text and asks if you want to search for it. It is therefore easy for a malicious app to read in your last copied text unsolicited, with all the misery that entails. You at Apple should block this for security reasons so that you can only paste the copied text if you want to. I can send you a screenshot if you want to see it happen.

You're not addressing Apple here, and we, just users like you, are not aware of Apple future decisions/plans.

That said, if you'd like you can submit your request/comment to Apple directly, using this link:--> Apple – Product Feedback.

Regards

Giulio

P.S. Are you thinking I don't believe it happens? Wrong assumption, Gerritje_K.

I just said that I can't replicate your problem.
