Iphone unavailable after force restart

After updating my phone with itunes. I was stuck in an attempting data recovery loop. Read on this platform that I should try a force restart. Went ahead to do that and now my phone is saying iphone unavailable. No connect to itunes prompt. What next? Because I was hoping to not need to completely erase my phone
