Using my Fn Key

When I press my Fn key, my whole screen of apps shifts to the left out of sight. Why

There needs to be a keyboard hide button I have had so many apps cause an issue where I type something in and then the submit button is hiding behind the keyboard and there is no way to hide or minimize the keyboard to be able to hit said button. Is there a way to possibly make this go away when that happens? Or am I just not able to use that app until they get around to fixing that obscure issue. I have this problem constantly with various different apps, the one I recently attempted to use was Zelle, and the only solution that I was able to find was “try closing the app and trying again” problem is I CANT do that with a lot of these circumstances because it happens every single time I get to that spot and I cannot continue without starting over again only to be stuck with the same problem again.

Keyboard layout switching key not responsive How is the fn key, used to switch between keyobard layouts, supposed to work? Sometimes it works on the first press, sometimes I have to hold it longer... It works fine when using it as the Fn key, so I assume it's in the software... Or am I using it wrong?
