Wrong letters when typing a word on iPad

Hi

can anyone tell me why when I type a word, as an example Birthday, and when I look it’s spelt zwrdjuv!!!

iPad Pro, iPadOS 15

type using what?

onscreen keyboard?

physical keyboard?

with the onscreen keyboard one can click the globe key to switch between languages

if one do so and then type on a physical keyboard with another language layout then I suppose

one could end up viewing wrong letters because of difference in layout

Typing using the on screen keyboard (touch screen)

it is set on English and I never change it. It’s most bizarre and I’di don’t check what I have written before I hit send, I would be in a lot of trouble with some of the weird words it spells!!!

Hi. It’s a brand new iPad Pro 2021!! I’ve literally done nothing to make it do it. MY old iPad did the same!
