calibrating battery in new MacBook Air M1

Hi guys, I've heard many opinions about calibrating battery in brand new MacBooks. Some say you should do it just after the purchase. Then I found article saying that M1 MacBooks do not require calibrating ? what's even better you should make sure to never let it drain to 0%.

what's your opinion on that?

Don't worry about it. Just go to System Preferences->Battery and turn on "Optimized battery charging" and be on your way. Through your use, macOS will make all the necessary adjustments with no need for user intervention.

Battery calibration is a thing of the past.
