Homepod on smart outlet / is turning it off like that ok?

Hello,

i currently have HomePod plugged into one of my smart outlets where i have automatization that my outlets turn off at the certain time of the day at night and turn back on in the morning.

Is that ok for the HomePod? Wouldn't that everyday procedure damage it somehow?

Thanks for answer!

If the HomePod in question is the device running the automation, which it might be even if you have multiple potential home hubs, then it won't be in a position to turn itself back on. I would recommend you leave HomePod permanently connected to power, but powering down shouldn't damage the device.
