I purchased a used MacBook Air with Sierra 10.13.6 and want to upgrade to 10.15. I cannot however find a download for macOS 10.15. I found an update for Catalina 10.15, however is says I need macOS 10.15 to install it. I am new to Macs, so need a bit of help to get started. I don't see the Software Update option when I click on System Preferences as well.

Software Update was introduced with Mojave 10.14. You need a 2012 or later Mac to upgrade beyond 10.13.6.
