Yes, I know it requires a home button. I guess what I should have asked is: how will I use my apps that I have set up to use touch id, rather than user name and password? Will they require me to set up facial recognition, if that is offered.
You don’t. Touch ID is a feature of phones that have a home button - iPhone 8 and earlier and the iPhone SE 1/2/3 devices. The iPhone 13 Pro uses face ID.
