Apple ID not active

Just bought a new Mac Pro...created a Apple ID, iCloud email, password. Two weeks later I can’t get into the email as it says This Apple ID is not active...WTF. It’s day two of using this Mac and

so ready to return this for a pc.

how can I get into the email and log in to the Apple ID? Or reset this $#&@ thing
