Notifications is not showing up for mail. Can’t turn on “badges”

Why isn’t “mail” showing up under “notifications” ? I cannot set the “badge” option so I can see new mail. The “mail” option is not under notifications at all.

Delete the Mail app and add it again.

I have Gmail, Outlook and iCloud accounts configured on my Apple Mail app. Previously whenever I used to get new email I received notifications in my Notification Center. But now it has stopped. Mail icon badge only showing iCloud mail, not other mail unread Recently I’ve noted that only my iCloud unread mail is showing up on my mail icon badge. I have three emails set up using iOS mail, and I used to be able to see a badge number reflective of all the unread mail across the three email accounts. Now when I have unread mail, the number only changed if the unread mail belongs to the iCloud account. Which is frustrating. I’ve tried turning badges off for mail and on again. And it still only shows iCloud unread mail. is this a feature update I missed during the last update?

Mail app not receiving notifications I have an issue getting notifications (for emails received) to work in the mail app. I’ve checked to make sure notifications are enabled. I installed a couple of 3rd party mail apps and I wasn’t able to get notifications working either. Any help appreciated.
