Bluetooth connectivity problems with track pad or mouse.

I am trying to make shortcut to the Control icon bar to click on Bluetooth preferences. My new Mac mini isn’t working with the track pad or mouse for Bluetooth connectivity.

Mac mini 2018 or later

There is a shortcut to the Bluetooth Preferences... on the Menu Bar.

If you do not have the Bluetooth Icon on your Menu Bar?

Open the Bluetooth Preference and check "Show Bluetooth on the menu bar"
