Troubleshooting a Method of Payment:


A. Location Restrictions:

See if it is Available for use in your Location: Payment methods that you can use with your Apple ID - Apple Support


B Try Using a Computer:

Use a computer to perform this change, as it would be more user friendly doing so.


C. No Success?:

For Financial Assistance, Contact Apple Store Support:

You need to contact Apple Support Directly. This is a User-to-User forum. We are all volunteers. So, as you may suspect, no one here has access to that information — and that is a good thing, BTW. That’s why for Financial Assistance, you need to contact Apple Support. They’ll see what’s going on and will run you through the fix.

Apple Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

I can't remove my cancelled debit card, can't add new debit card, want to upgrade storage -- no backups now because my cancelled card can't be charged. I want to chat with an APPLE employee (much as I love all of you) either on a chat screen or by phone. I am on my laptop now, the phone having failed to let me remove old card and put in a new payment method. But the computer keeps jumping me to iTunes, or rather to a screen that says iTunes and then loads and loads and loads forever. HOW CAN I START STORING AGAIN??? AM HAPPY TO UPGRADE. I DON'T WANT iTunes!!!

CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO TALK/CHAT WITH APPLE DIRECTLY?
