I dragged my camera sd card videos to trash and cannot find them is there a way to restore the sd card or recover missing files from the trash

Have you emptied the trash?
When you check the trash, do you still have the SD card inserted in the card reader? If so, do you see the files in the trash?
You are welcome. Hopefully, you can now restore the photos.
As a side note: my workflow when downloading photos to my computer, is to download the photos, perform a backup of the computer. I would then feel comfortable to format the card in my camera.
Thank you I reinserted the sd card and yes my movies are there. I was at a loss as to how to recover.
