Logged into the iTunes app on PC, all the songs I bought when I was a kid are gone. This account I'm posting with isn't the one that I'm logged onto, that's a whole other problem that I have now.
No help has been found online and I've looked under "songs not downloaded" and "hidden files" and clicked the button that says "[x] files available for download" and absolutely nothing happens. Did Apple just wipe all the purchases I made?
Most likely. Ideally you would have kept a backup of the library and seen something like Move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Community when planning to move to a new one. Signing into your Apple ID on a new computer only gives you access to the unhidden past purchases from that specific account, not everything that might have been in your previous library.

See Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash - Apple Community. As a rule each user profile on your computer would have an independent iTunes library. You would have to take steps to move or share the library location for it to be otherwise.

See Redownload music - Apple Support for an updated link. How old were these purchases? Apple used to sell 128 DRM music on a one successful download only basis back in the day. Some of my purchases prior to 2009 show up, but perhaps not all. I've long since gained DRM free copies one way or another since then. It is rare, but content can be pulled from the store when rights change hands. Again the precise details have changed over the years and I think you now have a better chance of retaining access than you used to, but if you never had or lost rights under earlier terms then they've gone. Reach out to Apple Support for assistance if required.

The "Redownload" article took me to a broken link, I had already tried hiding and unhiding content. I'm logged into the correct Apple ID that had bought those songs years ago and my library is just gone no matter where I look for it.
It just dawned on me that when I was younger, I wasn't allowed to have my own ID, although I'm not sure whether all of my purchases were made on my ID or my parents'. Regardless, I was logged into my current ID on my old computer and could see all those files—maybe they were local on that computer specifically?
So the songs that I had bought on iTunes wouldn't be on the cloud, available for redownload? I'd have to have them on my hard drive?
