iphone as a thin client

I work for a large company and we are exploring "out of the box" ideas for mobile thin clients, a device that can be used to access a remote virtual desktop. Does such a device exist that would allow an iPhone to connect to 1 HDMI display, 2 standard USB or wireless connections for a keyboard + Mouse, and an Ethernet port?

The idea being, use the browser on the phone to then access a remote virtual desktop, or perhaps use Citrix Workspace, the remote virtual desktop would display on the HDMI connected display (monitor/tv) and the keyboard + Mouse as input.

Such a solution would allow to forgo traditional ThinClients and let our staff use their existing iPhone. Their phone and thin client in 1, able to go with them at all times, and always having an internet connection. With the phone and the devices they could connect anywhere.
