Calls going directly to vm

Phone calls from non-contacts are not ringing, but going directly to voicemail. My “Silence Unknown Callers” is turned off. These direct to vm calls are not showing in recent or missed calls. I would like all my phone calls to display and ring. What am I missing?

Missing calls from people on contact list People who call daily tell me the phone rings or goes directly to voice mail but my phone does not ring. I have an Apple SE with IOS 15.5

Calls going VM after one ring, even though DND is off All of a sudden, my calls are ringing once and then going to VM, and Do Not Disturb is turned off. If I'm sitting at my desk, my iMac will ring once also and then it shows a missed call. I've switched DND on then off, restarted the phone, nothing seems to help. I've tested and called from my office phone, rings once then goes to VM, if I hang up and call a 2nd time, then the call rings right through. What is going on?

Then contact your carrier.

You don't have a 3rd party call filtering app installed, do you?

If they are not showing in recent or missed calls, they may be being blocked by your cellular carrier.

Either that or for some reason you did not have a cell signal when the calls came in.

My contacts calls come through. It’s been going on for a couple weeks.
