If you have permission to launch Terminal app, you can acquire various system configuration information that way, but I’d tend to assume that your access to Terminal app here is probably also prohibited.

sw_vers # software info
uname # hardware and software info
system_profiler # everything
system_profiler SPSoftwareDataType # the software bits of the “everything”
