Keep charging when full battery or not?

Hello,

I have MacBook Pro M1 that use a lot on a deck while working, and just use the battery at the end of day for media consumption out of my desk. I want to preserve my battery life.

My question is: when the Macbook is on the deck often is fully charged, should I remove the charger during the day to perform the cycles, or can I have it plugged for extended periods of time (~6 hours) while ate 100%?

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

André

If you are near an AC outlet, leave it connected to the charge circuit. It will not overcharge.

If you need portability, use it on battery power.

By charging/discharging you will quickly accumulate excess battery charge cycles.
