Subject "Billing Problem" from "no_reply@email.apple.com"

I received this in an email yesterday (10:48pm 4-Apr-2022). It said a Visa card (last 4 digits only) need to be "Fixed", in box that was hot. The last 4 digits did not match any credit card I or my wife has.

I didn't click and went straight to my Apple ID login.

The only reason I post this is because my credit card was hacked in the last 4 days. Said card has was cancelled late yesterday (Mon 4-Apr-2022)

Has this sort of nonsense happened to anyone else?

Thanks for your patience in reading thus far.

There had been a link to 'report a problem' at apple support;

but I didn't want to bookmark (or save yet) another one. Also

where a fake notice of Apple issue, there's a phishing report.

These are spam or phishing, or keyways into malware; harvests

of your personal real data and are ways/means to be exploited.

Kinda 'fake text' messages. Sometimes you can 'Report' them

'to Apple' directly. ~Other times, can only 'Block' the same type.

Copy/forward those which 'imply Apple' direct to Apple support.

Not sure what to say here; but have read/bookmarked lotsa stuff.
