There is no Directly way.
They will remove questions of the question is deems as not complying with the Rules that Govern the usage of the Forums but generally a request to remove does not occur.
If you are the owner of the question and do not what to receive additional reply or advise - sometimes marking the question as Solved ( Green Badge) will alert others to bypass the question.

How do I contact a Moderator for a deletion, please
One the " Moderators " of the Apple Support Community can delete a question.
If and only If this it is so important to remove the posting - if you what to supply a link in that question - we can request the removal at the Moderators total discretion

Since they've been printed then, I can only mark it as 'answered' as you suggested to reduce 'hits'?
A Moderator has ******* part of both Serial Numbers! So, thanks again! - no answer yet though!
